Hey everyone, it’s Jenny here, and today is a special day—my birthday! 🎉 As I celebrate another year, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on how incredible this journey has been and share some behind-the-scenes stories from The Career Flipper podcast.
Starting this podcast project has been one of the most exciting and fulfilling experiences of my solopreneur journey. Each episode is a new adventure, and getting to dive into people’s career stories has been such a joy. It’s amazing to hear how others have navigated their career flips, faced challenges, and ultimately found their path. I hope these stories have resonated with you as much as they have with me.
Of course, no project is without its challenges. I sometimes find myself getting a bit too caught up in the editing process. It’s easy to spend hours tweaking and perfecting each episode, but I’ve learned to find a balance between perfectionism and progress.
Recently, I had a little drama with my new microphone. I was super excited to start using it, but then, in a clumsy moment, I dropped it. I didn’t notice the plug had come loose until after recording an entire episode with barely audible sound. Cue the classic “why me?” facepalm. 😅 But hey, every hiccup is a chance to learn and grow, right?
Looking ahead, between furniture flipping and the show, I’m already thinking about Season 2 and what it will look like. I’m excited to bring new guests, explore fresh topics, and continue to make the podcast even better. The brainstorming sessions have been a lot of fun, and I can’t wait to share what’s coming up.
